Heather grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, lived in Hawaii, Jerusalem, New Zealand and hitch-hiked all over the African continent and the Middle East. So she knows a little bit about taking risks and living life. After several other careers, which included road construction, teaching elementary school, sending university students all over the world to study abroad, working for the State Department and a nonprofit for international education, running a family Polynesian dance business and she now has the exciting career of being a health insurance agent. It’s not exactly the career she always dreamed of, but it’s letting her continue to live her dreams. She lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband and has four rascally kids.
